No, of course not. Or only in the rarest of circumstances that does
not warrant it as enforced behavior, though if you can add it as a
parameter someone will always find a use for it.
So if we changed ‘display alert’ and all the other scripting addition
commands that display dialogs to display the dialog within the
application running the script instead of the current tell target,
that wouldn't be a problem?
