I think I assumed everyone followed the whole conversation thread and
restated my question in a way that sounds more general than the one I
originally asked. My real question is: When is it important to your
scripts to be able to tell an application, other than the one running
the script, to display a modal dialog with scripting additions?
Is it important to be able to prevent the user from interacting with
an application that is not the one running the script?
