Yep. I cannot, on ANY level, even *begin* to imagine creating 80% of the
scripts I've done since...well, when did Script Debugger 2.0 come
out?...with just Apple's tools.
No, Script Debugger isn't free, but it is an *amazing* tool. I've never
gotten into Smile, but I hear the same things from people who use that tool.
I'd have never even attempted to script any of the Office applications
without Script Debugger's "live" dictionary display, showing me what was
going on with the dictionary for an actual, real-world document. That alone
makes Script Debugger worth the effort. Couple that with the debugger?
Like I have said before, as long as Mark keeps doing Script Debugger, I'll
keep buying it, and recommending it to others.
