Could be, but those who keep pointing to man pages also need to adjust their
liquid intake. AS dictionaries are deficient, although once you get up to
speed you can usually get by, because you know all the assumptions behind
most of what you see. Dive into man pages with no great knowledge of shell
scripting, and the sinking feeling is very similar. Perhaps others do a fine
job, but enough with people holding man pages up as any kind of example.
