Change the case of file names

  • Subject: Change the case of file names

Hi all,

some people have bad habits (me too) and uses lower case of upper case characters and even title case when they name files.

(my bad habit) is to use my own character casing.

What I want to do is to change the file name casing from whatever it is to my own.

I have code to choose a folder full of files, change the name (add or remove a dot), and so on.

But I have troubles changing the case (in fact, I cannot achieve the code) and so I tried with a know file name (set to a variable and try to change it) without success.

Specifically, how can I change “THIS IS AN UPPERCASE FILE NAME.png” to "This is an uppercase file name.png” (or "This Is An Uppercase File Name.png”) AUTOMATICALLY ?

Thank you in advance for any advice that can be sent ;)

Regards,

Emile

PS: happy new year!
