spake thusly:
I'm wondering if now that we have Data Detectors back in OS X,
can we also use AppleScript (or anything else) to script them
like we could in OS 8 and 9? I'd also like to know how to
create a Data Detector that I can install in the system for
myself if anyone knows where that data might be too. I've
searched the online developer site, but can't seem to find
anything in Code Samples, Articles, Reference or anything.
Ok, I'll bite. Where did you see or hear that we had them back?

The Sufis advise us to speak only after our words have managed
to pass through three gates. At the first gate, we ask
ouselves, 'Are these words true?' If so, we let them pass on;
if not, back they go. At the second gate, we ask, 'Are they
necessary?' At the last gate, we ask, 'Are they kind?'
