Not exactly, as iTunes is able to get, for example, a date's month.
The problem here is that iTunes itself defines a "year" property (for
an Audio CD playlist as well as for a track).
So, as you already have said it, and as Skeeve did too, one has to
somehow go outside of iTunes' terminology so as to avoid the clash.
This was just my 2 cents... ;-)
