Not in the Windows context, but this issue (the opening dialog) was
mentioned some days/weeks ago. [I didn't look in the archives, and I don't
think I'm mis-remembering, but...]

Have you tried re-compiling the script application, as script/no dialog, on
the 10.5.x machine and then redeploying to the Windows server?

I *think* the past suggestion was that the recompile on X.5.x helped matters
regarding that newly appearing opening dialog box.
