Indeed, tisk, tisk. I realized I'd inadvertently forgotten to put in a
subject when I posted my query. Thanks for replying with an
appropriate subject so others can more easily understand and find
what's being discussed.
In broad terms I understand what you're trying to tell me. From your
suggestions, though, it sounds as if I'm in a bit over my head. I
wouldn't know where to begin putting your suggestions to use.
As it is I've created a Smart Folder as a template that Automator
duplicates. But that template, along with my not-even-nascent
scripting and XML knowledge, is rudimentary and incomplete for my
purposes. The user still needs to manually add the desired keyword
criteria and re-name the Smart Folder after the Automator Workflow has
completed.
It's possible that in a couple years I'll be able to put your
suggestions to work (that's not a criticism of your advice, just a
critique of my abilities).
