Hi,

I am trying to open a texture of a 3D Object in Photoshop CS3 Extended via
applescript but did not find a command for that. So instead I used the
scripting listener plug in and simply made a little javascript that does that
part.

Now the problems I ran into are:
1) I had to add a delay after the javascript in order to let it run its
course. Is there another method other than using delay to see if the
javascript finished running?

2) Or does anybody know the command to open a texture of a 3d Object via
applescript?

3) Also what method is used to speed up Photoshop scripts - can I run them in
the background or without actions showing?

I basically have a 3D model of a book and manually placed 15 languages into
the texture. (Instead of doing a photo shoot of 15 real books) My script then
duplicates the 3D object and makes flats for each language - in order to make
the script more stable and faster I am trying to resolve the above points -
any help would be appreciated.

Best, Patrik
