Luther:Thanks. I had saved my scripts as .apps
and the Apple Sys Admin was telling me they would not work.I just spent the last 30 minutes with
him... and the problem appears to be related to the fact that we want this
to work with OD person groups and not machines/machine groups. Is there a way to set login items in
OD? I looked at WorkGroup Manager and did not see anything and the Apple
Sys Admin was not aware of anything either. My other option would be to modify the
app so that it tests for OD group membership... I am going to research
that now... but if anyone knows a way to make that work please feel free
to respond.Thanks again for helping a Windows/Linux
admin as I attempt to get the Macs working in our environment!

You can't run scripts at startup, but you can run applications. So ...
Save your script as an application, then
Go to System Preferences/Accounts/Login Items and
Add your application to the list.
