OK...
more experimentation.
It appears that the extension I need is a .scptd file... but with the files I save I now get an error message about it needing to be an executable file....
My Apple Sys Admin who went to class for Workgroup Manager does not have a clue... anyone on this wonderful list able to point me in a good direction?

login script
Hello all:
I was pointed by me Apple Sys admin to Apple Script editor for making a login script.
I have two files -- one is a compiled .app one is an uncompiled .scpt file and I have also tried a .sh
What must be done to use a script in the login scrip area of Workgroup Manager?
