There are a number of computer/Internet slang terms that come from
once accidental but now deliberate typos; my personal favorite is
"cow orker".
A lot of Dog Cows came from Apple.
Up here in Vancouver (not currently being rocked by earthquakes), the
term is "björked" and pronounced "byorked" (one syllable). Often used
as a euphemism --
"The Olympic RAV project björked the merchants on Cambie by limiting
customer access for more than a year."
