Alternatively, try this:
1. Launch Dashcode, which is part of the Developer Tools.
2. Choose the Countdown template.
3. Set the target date in Properties to July 11, 2008, 6 PM.
Done -- you now have a lovely Dashboard widget counting down to the
iPhone 3G launch. Of course, if the point was to learn date math,
then never mind.
