Reading Passed Parameters - Applescript Studio

Hi All

I know this is an Applescript Studio question - but here goes anyway.

1. I am writing a proof of concept for a legalised brothel. Now I have your attention ... :)
2. I need to start a countdown timer for each room that has been booked. I am planning to use the Apple Countdown Timer example as the template.
3. I need to pass to the program the room number and the end time.

How does one read passed parameters in an AppleScript Studio application?

Cheer and Best Regards
