Title: Re: FileMaker "do script"
Apologies to Bruce for not reading his entire post.

To simplify what he proposed, it is possible to execute the script in one line, e.g.

tell application "FileMaker Pro Advanced"
do script FileMaker script "   Go to Citation URL(s)" of document "References"
end tell

I think the problem that I stumbled into is that FileMaker will accept the syntax "do script <string>" or "do script FileMaker script <string>", but only the latter syntax can be qualified.

So, in fact, the following will work

tell application "FileMaker Pro Advanced" to tell database "References" to tell FileMaker script "   Go to Citation URL(s)"
        do script
end tell

- David Crowe

P.S. "database" appears to be able to substitute for "document"
