Changing time of events in iCal

Ok. So basically for whatever reason, the time zone for all of my events thinks I am in Denver (I am in Chicago). I have since changed the time zone support on my phone and computer so that the calendar displays correctly.

However, that is not a very good final solution.

Is there any way for me to correct this issue with Applescript (move all events forward an hour, change timezone without changing time, etc.)?
