can applescript monitor keyboard input

Hi

I am new here and I want to write a script to delete a program. When I delete a program, it will ask me to input password, so I wonder whether apple script have any function to let me monitor keyboard input, like

"sendkey" in VBS.

Any help will be appreciate.
