Title: Finding file names that start with "."
I seem to remember that at some point in time the following returned files having names starting with ".". Am I wrong? If not, when did it change? What can I use to include those files? I’m using 10.5.2. Thanks.

tell application "Finder" to set thelist to (every file of folder (((path to preferences folder from user domain) as Unicode text) & "ByHost"))
