An unforeseen consequence of the large number of Tiger updates (i.e. Leopard delays) according to Chris Espinosa (Xcode technologies manager).


One side-effect of a minor update is that during the time between the end of applying the update and the start of the reboot process, if you have shutdown scripts which rely on the system version, a very tricky situation arises…
