How to open application (Preview) at a specific size and location on the screen

Hi there,

After having "enabled" Preview to be "AppleScriptable" I am now trying to figure out how to open the application and having the opened window resized and placed to my specifications.

EG.: I would like to be able to have Preview take up the right half of my 1920x1200 px. iMac (where the other half is being used for a FileMaker Pro application - FMP will then be able to get Preview to open the images who's paths are stored in the db).

PS.: It's a "poor mans solution" to handle images in FMP:
- Store the metadata in FMP
- Store the images in Finder
- Be able to trigger viewing the images directly from FMP

Any hints for better image handling in FMP is also appreciated ;-)

Best Regards

TvE
