Quoting Bob Cuilla <email@hidden>:

Does anyone know if I can mount an "unmounted) volume, by name.
Example volume abc was ejected ( for whatever reason). Can I mount it
via AS?

If it's an AFP volume . . . then you can use a mount volume command; the syntax includes the username, IP or hostname, sharename, and the password (or you can have it prompt you and put the password in the keychain).

If it's FW or UWB volume there's probably some terminal command you can issue via the do shell script command.

If you need the exact syntax for the mount volume let me know off list and I'll send it to you; but it should be easily google-able.
