Image Events problem.

Hello

I am writing a script driving Image Events to help an user.

I met a surprizing behavior.

If I use it to open a TIFF file,
resize it (say scale .5)
save as JPEG, it works.

If I try to do the same with a GIF file it fails, nothing saved.

Is it a normal behaviour.

My workaround is to save
first as PICT with no size change
then open the PICT
scale it
save as JPEG
delete the temporary PICT

It works but it is a bit boring.
