Hello

I met what I found surprizing.

Under 10.4,
when the Finder is set to display name extensions, the "displayed name" property of an application process reflects this choice (theApp.app)

when the Finder is set to "don't display "name extensions, the "displayed name" property of an application process reflects this choice (theApp)

Under 10.5
the choice is no longer reflected.
Is is a deliberate feature or is it a bug ?

Yvan KOENIG
