Solving this is highly dependent on what particular scriptable app
you're using, I'm afraid.
Always better to give too much detail than not enough.
How exactly do you want to "pepper"? Biggish chunk of text in font 1,
then say a chunk in font 3, then back to font 1, then font 2, etc? Or
do you want the alternation to appear rapid at the level of individual
characters?
