Satimage-software is glad to announce the release of Smile 3.3.

Smile is a programming and working environment based on AppleScript. In Smile you can edit and run scripts. You can edit text files (ASCII and Unicode) and XML documents or manipulate them by script. You can create your own GUI (Aqua or HTML), make PDF graphics by script, and control I/O devices. All those features are free.

Some new features of this release:

- Leopard users can now check undefined and unused variables in scripts by pressing command + enter (⌘⊼) in a script window or in an AppleScript terminal. Checking undefined variables will point out most of the potential bugs in your script *before* it even runs by detecting the variables that you forgot to define. The presence of unused variables is also signaled because this is often a sign that you did not write strictly what you had in mind.

- The new "filter image" command can apply a CoreImage filter to an image file. More info and some examples about "filter image" at:
http://www.satimage.fr/software/en/smile/graphics/graphics_images.html

- Smile is now fully Leopard compliant (supports Unicode etc.)

For a complete list of new features, please consult Smile's release notes at:
