I like (eventually!) to write idiot proof script.
I've been known to spend fifteen minutes to write a script that works,
and then hours to tweak it.
One day they are NOT going to be all on or all off because you let
someone use your computer for just a moment and ... In other words,
you are depending on good habits to make the script work.
True, and I did think about that.
So, how about this ...
I also thought about that, but I wanted as simple a solution as I
could because the OP indicated that he was new to Applescript.
