It is not correct. Typing a letter should select the first item,
alphabetically, that begins with that letter. If no item begins with
that letter, it should select the first item beginning with the next
letter in the alphabet; if no item begins with that letter, it should
select the first item with the letter after that, etc. If the last
item, alphabetically, begins with a letter lower than the typed
letter, it should select the last item.
