One clarification though: Is "Test Slideshow" actually a slideshow album generated from the regular album "Test"? I probably should have made myself clearer. "Test Slideshow" is not a regular album. For regular albums it works okay, but not for slideshow albums.
Ah, Slideshows don't seem to be scriptable. There is a command to start a slideshow from an album, but even that doesn't work (I'm on Tiger).If what I want to do above is not possible, then I would at least like to use what you have here to remove the required photos from the regular album (which works), and then generate a new proper slideshow album from it. But I can't seem to "make" a slideshow album from a regular album programmatically! How are we to do this? There aren't enough commands in the iPhoto dictionary!
That may be, but it is possible to do this using GUI scripting to fill in the gaps.
