Yep, it seems to work but do you receive accented Greek characters?
(When I tried it originally, it didn't work!)
How do you type a real semicolon?

I'm not sure why my characters aren't showing in the messages. The character
encoding of the message must be incorrect.

From your message's headers, as received here:

	[...]
	Content-type: text/plain; charset=windows-1254
	[...]
	User-Agent: Microsoft-Entourage/12.12.0.080729
	[...]

Clearly, MS hasn't learned... ;-)
