It's even better, set the rating of a track to 70 and you should get something like ***1/2 as rating in iTunes. You could use this much finer granularity to your advantage. Something like 72 won't show up in iTunes as such (the value is rounded for display), but if you sort by rating it's worth more than 70. (I used this behavior for a script in my latest book.)

So, don't worry about the fact that a rating is in a range between 0 - 100, rate to your heart's content, iTunes will do the right thing anyway. If you want the stars, use the construct by Yvan.
