Is the 'dialogs' parameter in Illustrator's 'open' command broken?

Hi all,

I'm trying to suppress the 'Find Font' dialog that pops up whenever AI CS3 opens a file that uses fonts that aren't currently available. Here's what I'm using:

tell application "Adobe Illustrator"
set user interaction level to never interact
	open alias "path:to:file.ai" without dialogs
	...
end tell

No dice: the 'Find Font' dialog still pops up, stalling my workflow until manually dismissed. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Hamish
