You can also adjust the current window¹s setting without changing the application default:

> tell application "Adobe InDesign CS3"

I¹m using CS3 but, like Ed, I¹m guessing that CS4 works the same way.

Thanks for the info. I didn’t get this to work in CS4. I’ll keep trying with different variations to see if I can get this to work. Many of the variations I tried, did compile, but didn’t do anything. Script would finish, but the high quality setting not applied. Thanks again for the help.
