The CGRemoteOperation event posting routines are by and large deprecated as of Mac OS X 10.6. Use event taps instead. See the Quartz Event Services Reference document for details. But that requires real programming.

GUI Scripting has always been a problem with FileMaker Pro, because so much of its code base is from a long time ago.
