But that would supposably be enough. Even if there were more than two states of the icon, a change might be sufficient in the specific circumstances.


The old Tempo/Tempo II macro utility didn't report icon info, but it did have something that compared the bitmap of a defined area on the screen, so that if it had changed the macro would do something other than that if it hadn't. I don't know how it determined whether or not a change had occurred.
