I am looking for a workaround that will allow me to read/write data to/from an Excel Workbook with multiple sheets.

I know that I can use the xlsread/xlswrite Matlab functions on Windows but I'm not sure how to implement this with an applescript and incorporate it into my Matlab code.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Shauna,
you can use AS to start Matlab, however, since Matlab runs in a X11 environment, I doubt you can script anything like what you want.
