AppleScript/ Automator Action

Hi I am new to this site and new to how your system operates so I am writing this email to try and get an answer to a project I am working on or to see if I need to direct my issue to a different email.
Here is my situation, I keep track of my daily jobs on my iPhone, sync to my MacBook pro those events to my work calendar in iCal. At the end of the week I email all my locations and (details of what work was performed and material used) in the notes section of the event to my employer so that he know what jobs I have done and what material I used so he knows what to bill for. I had been copying and pasting to a new note in Mail, yesterday I finally completed a Automator action, that also uses an Apple Script to complete this task for me automatically. It works great and saves time when I save it as a workflow, but when I save it as an app it doesn't seem to get my weekly events or if it does do that its not copying the events to the clipboard.
Here is what the Automator action entails:

Let me know what you think, like I said if I save it as a workflow it runs great, if I need to direct this to a different group also please let me know.
Thank you
