You can create a new button in FM and assign to it the action
³perform an
AppleScript² then in the dialog box for this action press
Specify...² then
just paste your AppleScript script there
This is exactly what I am doing and don't work. To work I need to save
the AppleScript as an application and call it from a FileMaker Apple
Event script step.
I am working with this for now, but I am looking for a solution to run
from inside.
I created a Table in my FileMaker database which manage AppleScript:
When I call an AppleScript in FileMaker, the command go the
AppleScript layout with the record number as Script Parameter, copy
the AppleScript text to a Global Variable, back to the original
layout, execute the AScript with Specify Calculated Specify Option.
Every database AppleScript works that way with exception of the one I
have posted.
