So, I tried that. It didn't immediately answer my question, but it did open a can of worms.
In the Mailbox Behaviors tab for my me.com account there is a "Store sent messages on the server" check box. I have UNCHECKED this box I the belief that messages sent from this account would be prevented from storage on the server.
However ...
When a message is sent from my me.com account, the message IS stored on the server and the check box is CHECKED.
When I attempt to move messages into my Sent/me-account mailbox, there is no warning message, the box is again CHECKED and the messages moved.
I didn't want either of these to happen. That's why I checked the @#$! box. And when that box is checked, the Sent/me-account mailbox should be made local. Or I should have gotten a warning message.
Is there any way to report a worm?
