Title: Get physical size

Hi all,

I have often had problems when it came to returning the physical size of an element*, especially from mounted netwrok discs.

Does anyone have a foolproof way of doing this, even using a shell script – working around the eternal (or often returning) missing value. Looping works some times, but also sometimes loops for five hours to no avail...

*as in “set MySize to physical size of...” in a tell Finder block.

Thanks in advance,

j.
