Scripting iPhoto to show photo in Events Album

  • Subject: Scripting iPhoto to show photo in Events Album

I have the id (and path) of a photo in the Events Album, but can't figure out how to get iPhoto to show (open/view) the photo, or select it in the event for that matter.

I think the problem is that the events in the Event Album aren't albums, and more or less invisible to iPhoto's somewhat old scripting concepts.

Is there any way to do this?

PS: Is there any way to get the NAME of the event a photo is in? Prior to iPhoto 9, I could at least use the folder name the photo's path was in, but now this is just a date too.
