Thanks for the reply. No, I think it's three periods.
The script dies on the click menu item if I change it to an ellipsis
With the periods, the script dies because the sheet doesn't exist.
The script acts like the menu item was clicked but it never opens up.
The original form of the script worked when I did the keystroke command.
Now, neither way works.

May you check the spelling of the menu item?
You typed three period characters but it may be an ellipsis one.
