With the periods, the script dies because the sheet doesn't exist.
The script acts like the menu item was clicked but it never opens up.
The original form of the script worked when I did the keystroke
command.
Now, neither way works.
Would be difficult to help without the "Sound Studio" application.
I'm aware of applications whose sub_window changed of nature between
10.4 and 10.5
maybe it's what you get.
