Hmmm ... You might try a simple find/replace in any word processor to change
pipes to tabs or commas.

Then - If each record is separated by a carrige return - you might create a
filemaker import table/file that would import each entire LINE into 1 record
field (GETSTUFF).

Then you could use a filemaker parsing script to pull out the data from the
GETSTUFF field and place it into the REAL fields.

Then you could delete all contents of the GETSTUFF field....
