Yes, I'm saddened to see FaceSpan development suspended. It especially
showed an interesting implementation of SQLite.
However, development ceased before FaceSpan quite implemented table
and outline views, which are essential for most programs, such as
displaying results of database searches.
AppleScript Studio is OK, but it fails to fully implement many GUI
elements too, such as selection changes in an outline view, text
properties, predicates, or a viable method to display different
properties in table cells.
With the impending release of FaceSpan 5, I could forgive AppleScript
Studio's ceased development. But with FaceSpan out of the picture, we
really need Apple to get off its ASS and add the missing links to make
it a viable development platform.
