In regard to the last couple of posts about turning off auto-
correcting from the menus, it doesn't address this problem because
auto correcting still... hmmm... auto corrects?
Well, it does not in my system. Once I turn auto correct off it does
not auto correct!
If this is the case with your system, I suggest you save an Apple
system profiler file of your computer and file a bug report with
Apple.
It is a problem that happens with your setup only.
To get the system profiler go to the Apple menu click on About this
Mac and then on "More info ...". Then go to the File menu and click
on "Save as ..."
TextEdit works as expected OMM.
If Apple would just realize I'm the only person in the world they have
to please to get along on this particular wobbly planet, they would be
much more content. You know, like a cow. '-)
