Given the lack of references to that problematic behavior, I'm
wondering whether that behavior is a new one, or if it has been
there for a while.
It's always been like that for the equivalent SOAP request. A 'null'
value returns 'current application'. Each and every value has to be
tested.
Hello Simon,
Good to know that there's a unique mapping for 'null' values.
But such values are just a symptom, the question being: how/when do
they appear in the interpretation of an xmlrpc (or, thanks to the
additional info you provided, soap) reply?
Going back to Jeff's original question: is it normal that an empty
string returned in a struct from an xmlrpc query is interpreted as a
'null' value at the client side?
