find text "3" in the_str
and get the error message
error "\"3\" doesn’t understand the find text message." number -1708 from "3"
Any idea what I'm missing? (because, right now I can't figure it out)

Interestingly enough (??) it works just fine when I use Smile
but not Applescript Editor.
