At the bottom of all messages you get from the mailing list is a line and an
individualized URL with the word "options" in it, something like this:

Help/Unsubscribe/Update your Subscription:
here in URL form]

Click on that to go to that webpage. Enter your password (or first click the
button to get your password sent to you if you've forgotten it) and log on.
At the new page, scroll down below the stuff about unsubscribing to find a
list and radio buttons for all your subscription options. There are about a
dozen of them. The second one is "Set Digest Mode". It should show "On".
Click the "Off" button, and change any other options you want. Then click
the "Submit my Changes" button at the bottom.

That will do what you want.
