Is there a way for AppleScript to set a unique "check for new mail" interval for each mail account? I'd like certain accounts to check for new mail more frequently than others.

In case anyone else is interested in this, I found a solution on this page:

http://harvey.nu/apple_mail_check_interval_per_account.html

It seems to work fine and only takes about 0.4% of the CPU. However, when saved as an application, it takes 16 bounces in the Dock before it opens up. Is that standard for an AS saved as an application or could I have done something wrong?

Also, when trying to quit the app, it ignores the "Quit Check Mail.app" menu selection and continues with the black and white spinning wheel. I have to force quit it.

Frank

BTW, still on 10.5.8 here. =:(
